I started making fretted instruments in the early 1980's, inspired by the guitars of Maybelle Carter, Eddie Lang, and Don Keiling; the mandolins of Ron Dilg and Bill Monroe; and the Appalacian dulcimers of Jean Ritchie and Clifford Roberts.

I make Archtop Guitars in custom body sizes, based on the old Gibson "L" models, in F Hole and Oval Hole designs.

Custom mandolins are offered in Flat Iron, "A", "F", Mandola, Octave, and Mandocello styles.

Dulcimers are made in traditional format, with 26″ to 28″ string scale, and 6½ Fret and 13½ Fret as standard.
