Early in my career I had the good fortune to have worked for one of the largest bass violin shops in the New York area, gaining hands-on experience with some of the finest antique basses in the world.

More than any other instrument the bass allows the greatest freedom of expression for the maker. The variety of interpretations on this form is absolutely stunning. Voluptuous earthy curves combined with the unique organic timbre of its voice have inspired muscians and makers throughout history.

Ultimately I make each instrument to the players personal specifications. I offer basses in either flat or arched back designs. I have an extensive collection of bass wood and will match a particular wood to the sound which the player desires. Each instrument is truly customized. These basses are world class artist instruments of the highest professional standards.
